The editorial board of SYNFACTS, a journal that summarise the current most significant results from the primary literature within synthetic organic chemistry, has selected our chemistry team member Johan Lindström’s latest publication, One-Pot Synthesis of 5-Acyl-2-amino-1,3,4-thiadiazoles, Lindström and Hallberg, Synthesis 2012, 44, for its important insights.
The motivation for the selection by SYNFACTS states; “This new synthesis of 2-amino-1,3,4-thiadiazoles should prove useful due to its experimental simplicity, reasonable substrate scope and its use of easily accessible or commercially available reagents.”
